hey all, I have a 2000 explorer. The drivers power seat fuse blows out only when I try to move the seat back. It works fine up, down and forward. But I try to move it back it blows. And the passenger seat works fine too. I looked at the wires under the seat but didn't see nothing unusual. Any help would be great. Thanks
The only other possibility is that one of the wires (specifically, the RED/LT BLUE one) from the switch to the motor has shorted to ground. It is possible that this short is in the switch assembly, the motor, or the inter-connecting harness. I would check this first to see if it might be an easy fix.
