Stalling Fixed at Last.....
First, Thanks! to anyone who helped along the way with the stalling trouble. 96 F-150 4.9 intermittent stalling for several months.
Last weekend I changed the ignition coil, it was all rusted and the connections were green. All well and good, BUT that wasn't it either. Overall it ran better but still stalled Monday AM on the way to the day job.
I called the mechanic shop that does my big stuff around noon and dropped it off in great disgust, I had failed. Next day the shop calls all done runs great, I was sold the wrong spark plugs and they ran too hot and burned uneven causing basic failure and stalling. New correct Motorcraft plugs, a few adjustments from their ace and it runs fantastic.

Dang, always hate when it's something so simple that you just feel like smacking yourself after all is said and done.
Glad it's taken care of, and you're back on the road. Hopefully you don't have to worry about it happening ever again.
