Driving a V-10 X. Has run great for the year I have had it. COuple of months ago, stalled on start and had to gas it to re-start. Had stalled once or twice on start since, but re-started and ran normal after. Last week, stalled on start and had to gas it to get it started and keep it running for about the first 10 minutes (Temp around 0). Took it to my friend who found it had a very plugged fuel filter and changed it. Ran fine until yesterday when it stalled and then had to gas to start and keep running, again for about 10 minutes. Friend suggested filling tank good and full and changing air filter. I did. Same problem this morning. THrough all of this, no CEL nor any codes when we scanned it. So, anyone have any suggestions? Injectors, electronic choke, fuel pump???? Thanks!
I suggest to check/clean the MAF and air filter...first

The MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) may be coated with ‘stuff’ from years of uses...there is commercially available MAF spray cleaner...
Air filter clogged in need of changing?
I'd suggest a fuel filter change but you already did that!
Last option...check with the stealership to see if any PCM re-flash is needed?
Might you have some bad gas in the tank?
<O
That's all my ideas...I'm sure others can add more...
That is the classical IAC Valve going bad. My truck is doing the same thing. But its not as bad as ur truck (its in the beginning stages of heading south). Do u have to keep the pressure on ur gas pedal inorder to keep her running?
Yes, I do have to keep pressure on the accelerator to get it started and keep it running. At least until it gets warmed up to a certain point. Where is the IAC and how much is the part going to cost me? Thanks!

Do a search on IAC and I'll bet you will get step by step instructions on how to replace it...just a hunch...
Quick update, here. I filled the thing full on Sunday + 2 cans of seafoam. On Tuesday am had the problem at 17f. Didn't drive again until Wednesday pm at 12f -- started and ran fine. Thursday am at 7f -- started and ran fine again. Any chance I cleared the line and/or injectors and solved the problem?
