All by itself, probably not.. but inches is inches and it will help some... my 351W is bored 40 over (making it a 358).. but i did so many other things other than that to the engine, i really would have no idea if the additional 7 cubic inches made any diff by itself...

to figure cubic inches you multiply bore x bore x stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders. thus a 302 bored .040= 307.6556 or 308ci. 4.040 x 4.040 x 3 x .7854 x 8 =308
