I could only imagine how my B Codes would have done in that Dyno tune. Kris, you wouldn't have been able to see for a long time.

Definately...get Jody to add some extra tip-in, adjust your shift points and add the downshift to your chip. My van turbo has almost zero lag now! It made a WORLD of difference in my truck's response and drivablity. I had him re-tune everyone of my tunes that way, its worth every penny!

He is going to get himself set up to do other things as I understand it. Maybe, if the stars are aligned, I can take a trip there and have him install the injectors and live tune. As I understand it, live tuning is the best, bar none.

Seems like my boost is off. Going about 55, I got EGT of about 700 and boost about 3-5 psi depending on the grade. Is this normal? I thought the EGTs should run cooler or is that only at higher RPM?

Anyone who has installed it, what have you noticed? TIA
Just did a check today, didn't want to guess over the weekend. At 55 mph I am at 500-550 EGT's on the flats with 2 lbs of boost.

x2 on the tune tweaking. Makes a world of difference. Might not need live tuning with stock injectors unless you have issues, but once you upgrade injectors live tuning can fine tune those puppies in.

Thanx. I will check it again when I take it out for a break in drive.

I don't need live tuning. I WANT live tuning. However, I will do that when I get AC code injectors. Hopefully by then, Jody is set up for live tuning AND injector installation. Just so you know. I will tell the wife that we NEED live tuning because it saves fuel, better results and the usual crap.

Didnt know he was going to be doing this. Is he opening up a shop with a mechanic? the reason I ask is, his favorite saying at Smokin' was ," I'm a tuner not a mechanic." Maybe that is what that closed on Fridays for "projects" is all about on his site.

I think I'm closer than Kris is, here in central MO.

I was a little nervous venturing into the unknown when I did my injectors, but after having done them once, it would be a pretty quick install a second time around.
