Looking to rebuild my 1990 f-250 351W with some 9.1 comp. pistons. Was wondering if this would effect the computer, because stock compression is a mere 8:1. The truck is a little lazy for my taste and want a bit more power. Easiest way is with compression.

I am pretty sure your engine should have 8.8 to 1
compression so bumping up .2 would make little difference. Many pistons are offered by PAW that will give you around 9.5 to 1 compression which I would consider max for cast iron heads with pump gas. I don't think it would adversely affect your computer but I am open for correction here.
