Go to www.electric-life.com. They've got power everything to fit just about any vehicle, and an FAQ section.

I've often thought about having a power window only on the passenge side.
Much later my GF gets a job truck-driving and found out they stole my idea!
I've known they've been watching me and reading my thoughts, but that's proof!

RH power window only
I know this thread is five years old, but I had to reply ..
I too am interested in power windows only on the right side of my 1974 F100 ranger .. I don't mind hand crank windows if I can safely reach them while i am driving .. I can't stand it when I'm cruising down the road and a rain storm hits, and I either have to pull over to roll up the passenger window or let my seat get wet.
I am even thinking about making the vent window power too.
Not interested in a complete power window kit for $$$, just looking to re-engineer some junk parts for $
I have been looking through these threads and some say the power regulators from 80-86 trucks will work if you swap them side to side, or 80's vans are practical bolt-in. Haven't seen any pictures of 80's van conversion. Anyone? Thanks.

Got it together about a year ago and I really like it... :)

The problem is they seem to be side specific? I need to
look into that in more detail for my old '75 since I have
a spare driver's side electric.
Swapping the drivers side over to manual was easy as
anything. Swapping one to electric is going to be more
involved.
What do you think of just having one control switch on
the dash? Or two switches, one on the dash and one
on the passenger door?

I do however have pics of our 70's window regulators next to some out of an 80's bronco/F-150 and they are different enough to look like they may be tricky to make work. PM me an email address and i can email them, or if someone wants to host them on photobucket that would be great. My photobucket account is close to full or I would.
I keep a word doc full of links and saved posts pertaining to upgrades I want to do on the crew so they are easy to find when I need. Whenever I see something helpful (like this thread) I'll save the link there. It's all organized by category so it's easy to weed through later. Below is the info and threads I have saved on this topic already if they will help anyone else searching on this.

Electric Life - FD41-K 2 DOOR FRONT KIT CONTAINS 2 COMPLETE REGULATORS WITH MOTORS ATTACHED
I started with these for the front doors, they bolt in, but you may need to elongate some of the holes in your door.
Buy another set for the rear doors, then get your original manual regs and compare to your new power units. Simply drill out the spotwelds on the new unit holding the arm on, then shorten the arm and re-bend it to match the length and bend of the original arms. Make sure that all regs are in fully up or fully down position so that you can compare apples to apples. Clock the new, shortened arms to mimic the position of the old regs, and plug weld the arms back on. Apply some cold galvanizing to the welds when done.
Then trim out the bulge in the upper access panels, weld on a straight mounting tab, and bolt in like this: http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1301170448

From a guy w/ a 75 crew
The front power window regulators are factory Ford units from an early '80's Ford van - they are almost a bolt in item. The rear regulators are Electric Life units - they required a little fabrication and don't have nearly as much 'oomph' as the oem units, but that's OK, cause they don't get used too often. The switches were cabbaged from a heavily optioned Mercury Monarch/Ford Granada - I can't remember which.....

I did basically the same thing. Pirated a set of pwr window regulators with motors out of a '90 F150. Swapped the rail out on the bottom of the window with the '90 rail. Got the motor located and drilled holes. I put miine into a bump. Had some minor issues with the hinges. Don't remember how the hinges are on a dent. If they do not extend inside the door it should be a piece of cake. For the record almost all Ford products had the same travel across the window pwr or not. ie: you could use units from cars also.
