If the US would change to kilometers, we could probably reduce our dependence on foreign oil by about 1/3.
Well actually you get less, see the next example:
16 miles/gallon(US) = 6.8022993 km/liter
you go from 16, to 6.8 in your mind and thats terrible. he he he he.
I know that the volt meters are different thats for sure. Learned that the hard way. I tried replacing the whole cluster and then it didnt charge becuase it was differnet so i just replaced the head and it all worked great.
I have it. Its been sitting in my closet for a little longer than a year now. PM me if you are intrested. Oh and I know that the milage is pretty close to 140 something when it is converted.
Of course I am. Just trying to see if anyone bites.
Hahahaa......now THAT was funny......
In addition when doing the fuel economy calculations if you use imperial gallons combined with the shorter miles we have here in Canada......you will get waaaaay better fuel economy......least thats what I tell myself at $5.99 per Imperial gallon....yeesh....or $1.32 per litre.....
