1998 Explorer Check-up
I have recently purchased a used 1998 Explorer Sport with a 4.0 in it. It has approx. 120,000km. I was wondering what should I be looking into getting checked out (other than the regular mantenance) when the vehicle has reached this many kilometers? I have another year of the warranty so if anything needs to get done I would like it done as soon as possible.

top on my list would be inner and outer tie rods and upper and lower ball joints and overall alignment
I'm assuming you don't hear any of the rattle or diesel sound associated with the cam chain tensioner issue, if so, get that fixed
make sure Air Cond accumulator is not rusting out and charge is good
might see when the thermostat was last changed out, and fluid is green, not brown
Check for clean looking ATF and smooth shifting.
