power question
I have 50 horse injectors and straight exhaust,and a bullydog tuner on 80 mode. All else is stock. My question is at rpms below about 2500 when i bury the go button I get a rumble but steady increase of speed and boost. If I push the button down slowly and consistantly I pick up 3 ibs boost and quicker acceleration.Can anyone tell me why?????
I also have 6637 and 4" intake.

I'll take a stab at it. My guess is when you cob it you loose your HPO pressure before you can make enough rpm's to turn the HPOP fast enough to replace it, so I'll bet you get a lot of black smoke and less power. When you roll into it the HPOP is more able to keep up with demand at the lower rpm's so you actually get to higher rpm's faster.
That's my guess, anyway.
