I have installed the SUPER DUTY letters below the tailgate on my truck. One word, or maybe more, but a super "WOW" does it look good.
The letters I got are laser cut, stainless steel, chrome plated. I bot them on line in an auction for $125.00 plus freigh of $11.14 for a total of $136.14.
When I received the package it ends up being sold from a FORD dealer:
Tuttle Click Ford Lincoln Mercury, Irvine, CA 949.472.5200
I bot them on EBAY and was the only bidder. I inquired about a "buy it now price" with a negative response.
I am happy. Look at the photographs and you decide!
First vehicle in my ole life I did any customizing to, and the letters were the best buy. The grille stuff was super expensive. The mud flaps were cheap. The truck cap was super expensive (A.R.E.) So my point is beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but up close and personal, even my wife likes the "SUPER DUTY" letters as they look very professional.
Suggestion if you install. Do it in the morning. The two way tape on the back is very thin and patience a must to remove cover. Each letter sort of slides into the stamped void, but you can err. I placed each letter before I removed the tape to see how they would fit.
I also washed the tailgate a couple times and then used alcohol to remove any wax from the car wash.
Someone spent some serious money to get a laser cut form, and then make the letters, as they are cut out from stainless steel and then chromed, or so I am told.
