Well, in the 55,000 mile I've owned her (now at 197,500) I had to rebuild the tranny ($3000) new injectors ($1400) water pump ($70) haronic balancer ($100) and yes, she even counts it against me when I "thought" the fuel filter cap was on tight enough but starts pissin' 2 days down the road.... I can't win- she's owned 2 new cars in the 12 years we've been married, and I've never owned anything over 1999. You'd think that would equate to some squelching of the bitchin'....

Well all that doesnt add up to 2 new cars so just use that against her lol
My ex used to by alot of things here and there that she "needed" but when I bought something that was consider a "big purchase" she would get mad. then I would just add up everything shes gotten till she shut up lol
Just tell her you need to fix it right or it could blow up next to a bus full of little kids and kill them all lol
It,s funny you said that,LOL, i tell her with the high price of fuel nowadays i,m trying to make my truck more fuel eff...It,s been working so far, although i,m not lieing either. It is running a heck of alot better.

You just need some single shot sticks now and you will getting even better.... But that means a custom tuner too
Just tell her its an investment, with the cost of fuel goin up you will save enough to pay for it in no time!
Danny, I would ship you my stock unit to borrow and buy some time for you to figure out your next move, but it won't work on your truck.
We might be able to make this work. You've got the correct intake plenums and intake spider on the way to you. I'm not sure what other parts you would need though. What else would you need? Pedistal, up-pipes,...what else? I've got the pedistal and some intercooler piping that are yours if you need them. Just let me know...I've got your address still.
I guess pedistal and up pipes, but do you think it would be easier to do the whole swap ( I don't even know where I can find an IH dealer around here) or just rebuild the turbo?
Clux is sending me his rebuild kit, but if I'm gonna do that I'm gonna go with a WW, as I was informed that a stock wheel on my smaller housing would cause worse surge than you late 99 and up guys already deal with.
Jeremy is sending me hin intake plenums and spider, but that was before htis all happened, I was just planning for the future. I think though like I told Jeremy, I'm gonna have to pass up this excellent opportunity to upgrade and just rebuild it for now.
Big Poppa Pump- I gotta thank you for the offer on the wheel, but I was informed it would be worse than later model surge, so it looks like I'm stuck buying a new one, but again I relly appreciate the offer.
Clux- you're a life saver!
Reps all around!! Sorry Tenn, I gotta spread more around before I hit you up again...
I have an extra stock wheel off of an 02' dont know if it will work or not but it is in good shape! Send me a PM if you want it and I will get it in the mail to you...
