Dashboard Pieces?

Anyone know where to get the dashboard mounted slides in and out beer holder for the 99.5 SD. Even a part number would be nice. I flat out hate calling the stealerships so I was hoping someone here either has one or can point me in the right direction. I need the beige colored one.

I'd be asking for the 03+ part number if I were you and ditch that cup-thrower POS. I did the update in mine and I'd do it a hundred more times if I had to... Got mine on eBay.

What is the update item? Does it look original. I'd like to keep the dash looking stock if I can. but I agree, the original is certainly junk. Thanks for the answer.

For part number assistance, contact Ed Olson @ ftepartsguy.com (Parr Ford-Bremerton, WA)

Ed is an FTE sponsor, and gives a discount to FTE members from the actual Ford suggested retail price (MSRP).

THIS is one type off of ebay - scroll down to find the part number for your truck. If I remember correctly, they used to sell one with an ashtray/change tray in it....can't remember where I saw it, however.

Yes. It looks just like the previous years and up to I think '05. That item that he listed is basically the same as the one I purchased... Only difference that I can see is the handle looks to be made to match the dash for '05+... the handle on mine looks exactly the same as the one that came in my 99... Minus the dirt build up from over the years... but there are some very little torx screws that look like they hold the front face piece on so once I find some bits that are small enough for them I'm gonna try to swap the handles.

This one > >

5C3Z2504810AAD / MSRP: $82.50 / ftepartsguy.com price: $59.40

If you are curious as to what the others the seller listed cost, type the number into ftepartsguy.com website.

Type them like the one I typed above, no spaces or hyphens.

I ran a few of the numbers, some are more than double the price of this one.

Example: YC3Z2513560CAG .. Denim Blue / MSRP: $178.77 / ftepartsguy.com price: $128.71

...and some are not...

Example: YC3Z2513560CAD .. Graphite / MSRP: $82.55 / ftepartsguy.com: $59.44

Different color, less than 1/2 the price....crazy.

Do you know if that's the one with the ashtray? It's a bit difficult to tell by the illustration.

Thanks for the info!

No, I don't, sorry.

There are no Ford microfiche slides (Parts Catalogs) available after 2002, so that's as far as I can research.

All I'm trying to find is that POS drink tray in the beige color from 99, I can't get into fleabay for some reason and I can't find it anywhere else at a price that is not crazy. 180 bucks from Ford. I tried the FTEpartsguy to no avail. No one here has one that is in working condition? All that is wrong with mine is that mickey mouse bracket that the spring attaches to is broken.

Maybe try some local junk yards? Or, keep your eyes peeled on ebay and/or craigslist. The "newer" style ones do, in fact, keep the dash looking "original". Not to mention, the functionality/durability is much better than the stock holder. And, of course, the $30-$80 is a bit better than the $180 from Ford.

I guess one other option would be to spend the lesser money to purchase the newer style and maybe trade someone who has a stock? I'm sure you'd get quite a few people who would like to.

Sorry, but you confused this old man here. Do you have a link to the "newer" style ones? That's where you lost me.

These are from ebay. If you scroll down, you'll have options of year/color. The ones NumberDummy posted are probably the same style (maybe).

Sorry for the confusion.
