Back when I had my previous truck - '99 PSD - I upgraded my cupthrower and found it here: Powerstrokeshop.com
Use this part number: YC3Z2513560CAD
Unfortunately, if he inputs the tan colored one "CAF" instead of "CAD", the price jumps to the $140.
Drives me nuts that they charge so much to paint it.
Hey, wait a minute....what's the possibility of you buying the grey one, as well as the tan paint from Ford, and painting it yourself? Guess that's another option.
The prarie tan and blue ones are more expensive because that color interior was only available for a couple of years, so there isn't as many parts available. The Parchment is a tan color that might be close enough to prarie tan if you are not too picky. Otherwise buy a different color and paint it like others mentioned. The Parchment part number is YC3Z2513560CAB and it is only $60 from FTE Parts Guy. I personally would try it.
I'm pretty sure Ford quit making the old style with the foam ears, and only makes the one with the fingers now. You need to make sure to get one for a 99-04 truck though, as the dash is different in the 05-up trucks and it will not fit (you could try to swap out the face plate, but I looked and it did not seem to be an easy swap).
I have pictures in my gallery of when I changed out my cup holder in my 99 to the newer style with the fingers. It worked much better. 1999 Ford F250 4x4 - Cupholder Install

Thank you very much, and that's just what I needed, you're gonna get reps for that man!
While we're on your post....do you have a part number for that ashtray assembly? My 2000 has the "trash bag/coat hanger hook". And, I'd love to change it out.
I don't have the part numbers, but you can buy them from FTE Parts Guy. I just looked the parts up on his site and the housing is $36.25, and the ashtray itself is $28-37 depending on the color. I'd probably suggest looking at a junkyard or ebay unless you really want it, cause that aint cheap (although Ed's prices are much better than MSRP).

Do you just order the parts off a 99 truck to delete the stupid hook and everything just bolts into place? I may have to check with Ed on this. Those numbers don't scare me.

What did beerstalker look up that shows those prices? That's not what I came up with.
EDIT: AHA! What he looked up (on the website catalog) is the Ashtray & Housing ONLY. These mount in a different location, and are not related to the beverage holder/ash tray.
I have the actual Ford parts catalog, I'm not using the website catalog.
Ed and I are old pals...he sent me the 1990/2002 Ford truck parts catalog on microfiche slides.
FoMoCo sez:
1999: F81Z2513560AAA "Prairie Tan" is replaced by
F81Z2513560BAA and that was replaced by:
(2000 part number) YC3Z2513560CAF .. Beverage Holder Assy Prairie Tan = includes cup holder & ash tray.
$178.60 is list / $128.59 is the FTE member price from ftepartsguy-Ed Olson @ Parr Ford, Bremerton WA
I've got gray. Is that any cheaper? Is the ash tray assembly just a direct bolt up in place of the trash bag hook?
Chris, the parts catalog shows an ash tray OR a beverage holder/ashtray. Ash tray (& housing) only is what beerstalker looked up on the web catalog, by mistake.
Are you looking for the beverage holder/ashtray? = YC3Z2513560CAD .. Graphite / MSRP: $82.55 / Ed's price: $59.44 / Why is this one cheaper than t'other one I listed above? Dunno.
I do not know these trucks at all...they're after my time. I've never looked at a dash in real life.
I'll correct that at the next SoCal Chapter GTG, several member have them.
Bill, I think what Chris (and myself) is looking for is THIS ashtray. It's the one that replaces that silly garbage bag hook Ford decided to throw in, I'm looking for it in the grey color.
All you want is the ash tray only, no beverage holder.
I've got mine out now and sort of fixed with with a flexible sort of super glue and seems to be working after letting the glue setup all night. But while having it out I realized how nifty it would be to just get rid of it completely and be able to put a set of gauges in there. What would be perfect would be mechanical type guages that would give a digital readout so that all of them could fit in the spot and look perfect. I am dreaming, huh?
