Here is a photo of my '59 F100 as she looked the first time I saw her. I've had her a month now and will be posting some questions from time to time. Hopefully most of them won't be too stupid.
I have a question posted on the Fuel Injection, Carburetion and Fuel System board now. If you'd take a look and help me out I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
I've always had a soft spot for the "frigerator" years. I drove a 60 F-100 short wide bed with a big window back in high school and I've had a couple of others over the years.
Ask any question you like, even if you think its a stupid question. Actually I think we like those ones the best as we have a chance of giving the right answer.

Built at the San Jose plant in October of '58. Has the stock 292 w/ 3 on the tree. She's a Custom Cab, BBW, longbed. I bought her to be a driver that I can gradually do a restomod treatment on. I live in Roseville, CA, outside of Sacramento and bought her in Redding, about 160 miles north of here. It appears she spent most, if not all her life there. All five of the stock wheels w/ caps and rings came with her. I'll post additional pics when I get some time to do so. She's Wedgewood Blue and Colonial White according to the data plate.
Speaking of the data plate, here's a question for you: The spot for rear axle code is blank. What might that mean? It appears to be a nine-inch, but I haven't determined what the axle ratio is yet.
As for me, I am first and foremost a car guy, meaning that I can appreciate all makes and models. But I have a special fondness for Fords, having owned three '70 Torinos. I just sold my latest, which was a project car that I gave up on after seven years. It was just too much for me at this stage of life. I'm a 1959 model myself, but still have kids at home. The car needed major work, and with family responsibilities I just don't have that kind of time right now. The new "fridge" is a much better fit.
