8 bolt valvecovers and the thermostat housing is on the block not the intake manifold.
I checked the block number too...it makes no sense to me, maybe one of you can decipher it...

and that its a c6 tranny because of the integral bell housing.
So I own a 79 Ford F150 Camper Special with a 351M, 2V carb and C6 tranny. I can live with that.
D7TE-A2B simply means (among other things) that it's an M-style truck block which was cast in 1977 so you definitely have a 351M if it's the original engine which it probably is.
I agree too that it is a modified cleveland. The 351m's were used up to 1983 when the windsors finally made into the F-series models. Also was the year of the return of the 460.
