Distributor wiring help needed!
Greetings,
I am installing a 1983 Mustang GT engine into my 60 F100. I need some basic help on the wiring for the coil/distributor. The distributor has three wires coming out. Black, orange, purplishblack.
Can someone tell me how these wires and the coil all connect?
All the original wiring was removed before I received the engine and I am ALMOST ready to put this into my truck. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Distributor wiring help needed!
The best advise that I can give you is to buy a repair manual for a '83 Mustang that has wiring diagrams in it and trace out the wires from the diagram to see when they are connected. Your local Ford dealership service dept. may be able to get you a wiring diagram from there manuals.
