I have a problem and I'm not sure if it is the starter motor or selenoid. The battery is fully charged but when I cran it over the starter sounds very tired, just bearly cranks over and after few attempts gives up, when I come back next day it does same thing
If you have a volt meter, watch the battery voltage while cranking and if it drops down to 10 volts or less then the battery might be bad or the starter might be drawing more current than the battery can supply because the starter has issues. Most of the auto parts stores have battery test sets and can check the current draw from the starter. Even Walmart can check it for you....

thanks for the tip, I have a tester myself, I will check it out, can I do this on a bench or the starter has to be mounted on the engine?
