302 to 360/390???? HELP
I have a F150 1981....
Im trying to put a 360/390 in this truck... problem is the oil pan hits the frame of the truck and it seems that the motor mounts are to far back for the keep the oil filter from to hit the steering arm.. any advice would help....Thanx...

302 to 360/390???? HELP
if you want simplest swap, get a 351w with sump on pan in same location as your 302. the 351w uses same mounts. the 360/390 are from different family of engines and will take lots' of work to install.
