Auto choke on Holley 1835

Hello all, this is my first post here. I recently bought a '59 F100 with a stock 292. I'm considering adding an automatic choke to the Holley 1835 2bbl. My choices are an electric or integral heat tube. I'm strictly an amateur on this stuff, so I'm looking for expert guidance here.

Thanks in advance...

Barry

Welcome to the forum

Are you still running a generator or alternator?

I know on an alternator, you just wire the choke into the stator wire. Is there a wire marked "S" on your regulator?
i 'm at work and my old system off of my 63 is in my shed. I converted to alternator when I removed the 292 and installed the 351W.
