Front Axel tag decoder.
My vin decodes out to this.
Model Year: 78
Series: F150 - 4x4 Super Cab Pickup
Engine: 8 Cyl, 400ci, (6.6L) 2bbl
Assembly Plant: Kansas City
Transmission: C6
Front Axle: ('78-79) P.S. w/adj col.
Rear Axle: 3.50 3750lb Ford
Now my Front Axle: ('78-79) P.S. w/adj col.
This is my issue My front Axel tag reads
3-50 D8TA AAB
610048-1
I haven't been able to find any info weither This is a Ford axel or a D44? Of course I need to pull the rear axel tag, cause there really is not telling what is in the truck seeing it has a 460 under the hood.
