Fuel mileage really upped!
well, yesterdy before prom i went to get my new rims. (pics Soon). i filled up on fuel by my house. perfectly level ground every direction. filled till she came out the filler neck. i have a new air filter. i turned my superchip down to the safetow mode (40ish horse). i drove 43.5 miles smooth highway with a tail wind while my cruise was set on 60 and RPMS a lil shy of 2,000. i stopped at my destination and it held 1.2 galons on perfectly level ground. both times i ran it slow and kept pumping all it would hold till she came out the filler neck. i cant explain why that good of mileage. the mechanic over where i bought my rims (same guy who fixed my truck after that wreck) said he didnt doubt it, cause of the low RPMS. i cant tell much diff in lowest mode from the highest mode when it comes to power. i have just got alot lower smoke, egts, and higher MPG. even after around town driving then a few miles on the highway i got 19.5 mpg. seems awful good. the shifts are MUCHHHHH better on my tow mode too! its crazy, but its true.
