Speaker size

I was wondering what size speakers were in the 05 F-150 scab,I want to do an upgrade and would like to know what size to look for,are the front and back the same size?Any recomendations on what to get.

6x8 will fit in both front and back.

6x8/5x7 same difference. Front and back. There is a spot for a tweeter in the front doors if you want. I have had good luck with Kicker, Polk, Infinity. All priced around the same.

Are you running a component setup in the front,if so what brand/size?So you can put either a 6x8 or 5x7 in the front or bac, no issues?

I just upgraded my head unit and speakers about 3 months ago as well. Went with a pioneer head unit and Memphis 5x7's in all the doors. Got the headunit from Crutchfield.com and the speakers on Ebay. When you order from crutchfield you get all the necessary head unit adapters for free along with the speaker adapters also.

They sound way better then the stock junk that comes with them!
