Sounds like you have an 85 Mustang GT four barrel. I have one of those, they are worthless.
It is a 580 cfm emissions carb made by Holley. It looks like a Holley and can be replaced by one BUT none of the Holley rebuild parts will work on it. I tried everything to rebuild mine but none of the gaskets were right. I saw a rebuild kit in a Mustang catalog that was $80 and you could only get it from Ford.
I did not feel that $80 for some gaskets was worth it especially on a carb that was not very tunable anyway. Unless you are trying to restore something, just get a 600 Holley.
