I have a 98 Super Cab XLT. The cup holder will no longer lock in the out position but comes all the way out. It looks like the two tabs broke off. The spring look OK. Anybody have a fix?
No repair. Visit the salvage yard and get a replacement. Use care not to break the tabs off .... use a butter knife or similar slim tool to release them before pulling it out.

Ditto. Mine broke off too, I'm just real careful when pulling it out now.
One of mine has been broken for years, one still stops it. Bad design, if you bump the side of it when it's out the opposite side tab breaks. As Steve said, salvage yard has plenty.
