problem disconnecting fuel line

I am replacing the fron fuel tank on my '94 f150 4x2. I used the quick connect removal tool i got from autozone to get one line off. However, the tool won't work for the second, larger line on the fuel pump. Is there a different method that should be used to get this line off? Also, how do i get the electrical connection off the top of the fuel pump? When i tried to pry it off it didn't moe and just scuffed the plug.

There are two different sized lines that require two different sized tools or a 2 in 1 tool.

The electrical is usually a 4 lead pigtail about 8-10 inches long with a plug on the end. It doesn't unplug on the end that is attached to the fuel pump assembly.

Seat the tool on the garter spring, then push the line towards the tool. That usually works for me.
