Right on, its nice to have the good economy with the larger tires Ive always noticed that when putting the larger tires on too. On my 97 the fuel mileagae went up a solid 3 mpg average,. On my diesel it was 1-2. I have always had enough power to turn them too.
The pics in my gallery show the Crew with 38" Swampers, ran well, lots of traction. Only down side was when I was hauling a heavy trailer I'd have to downshift to go up some hills, when I put the 33s on I didn't have to downshift any more, and could power right up in 4th. That was with 4.10s. I'm going to try a couple of tows with the 36s, see how they work. Right now I'm at 2750 RPM at 100k on the 33s
My tuner is advertised as being able to adjust your speedo, but it's not in the instruction manual or the menus on the tuner itself. This isn't the first time I've driven a vehicle with the speedo way out. Easier to adjust me than the speedo at this point. 38" that's pretty big.
Thanks, I'm getting lot of surface rust starting to peak out from under the paint. Going to have to start the bodywork alot sooner than I anticipated!!!
