Talking Rims!

I finally got the rime's I'd been looking for. They're a little rusty, but I don't care. They're 8 bolt 16.5's. Haven't measured the width, but they're 10+ inches for sure. I'm going to pick up the goodyear 37-12.50-16.5's tomorrow at Kroy Tire in Winnipeg. Rims were $20 each. Tires? $125 each.
I'll try to get pictures of this one for you guys once I've got it done!

Oh yeah, the tires aren't new. They are used military tires. I'll have a look at them later this morning and then hopefully get them on the truck today... I hope. I just want them for summer tires. I have good winter tires already. Cooper discoverer ATT 33 12.50 16.5's.
These 37's should give me the longer stride I've been looking for. I'm sure I won't be short of power to push it!

37's would be just on the edge of fitting. I would think on a stock truck that would be pushing it though.

Ive tried Morris, believe me!

I'm just putting them on the back. They fit quite nicely in the Dually fender well. Nope no lift.....yet. Now I'm getting about 1800 RPM @60-62mph. Exactly what I was looking for. Down from 2100.

Yup. I noticed the difference already. I got them on in Winnipeg Yesterday so I had a 3 hour drive home onh the new rubber. I did all the guzinta's for the actaul speed, but I'll have to wait for a full tank to do the MPG numbers. It did use less coming than going.
