Heads ???

Hi All,
I just saw an ad in the local classifieds for the following as described. "New prof 2.9 Ford truck heads." I have no idea what they are for. I thought some of you engine gurus out there might know. I was kind of hoping it is something I wolud want for my 351W. They want $275.00.

2.9 were small V6's used in Bronco II's and Rangers in the 80's, as well as some other years and vehicles I am sure........not really to good a fit on a 351W though

is that 2.9 litre? almost sounds like a small v-6. if it's litre, then they are too small for 351 windsor.

dave, i might not be exact, but you can figure aproximately 60 cubic inches to 1 liter. example: 5 liter is 302. not absolute but gives rough idea when shopping. pete

Yeah, I knew that, but I was not equating the number with being related to engin size. There are numbers for heads for that other car company that have nothing to do with engine displacement. But thanks for the info just the same.
