Last year I went to the Jefferson Wisconsin spring swap meet and saw what I thought had to be the ugliest truck I have ever seen. Last year the guy had a "For Sale" sign on it with a price of something like $22K. At the time I didn't have a camera to take pictures of it. It was back again this year and I had my newest toy with me, or as I tell the IRS, my new business tool, a cell phone with camera so I was able to snap some pictures of it. This guy put a lot of work into this thing but it just doesn't do it for me.
The is a cab and pieces of hood from a '51 or '52 Ford truck in there:
Actually that thing has some potential to be pretty cool if the guy would get rid of the door ***** and do a little cosmetic work. So this is what they really mean by rat rod??? I would be tempted to build something like that for the fun of it. I think it would really be cool if it kicked everything on the street.
personally i see lots of potential there . just needs some of the "goofy crap " done away with . j those vents are louvers . lots of the old rods and customs sported 'em . it's a dying art and id sure like to know who did 'em .... the darkness calls me forth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob if you took those pictures with a cell phone camera I'm totally impressed. My Motorola Razor doesn't do that good.

I agree with dave...although not realy my taste, it seems that the thing was built to display artistic interpretation rather than a total cool factor....some neat ideas none the less.
