either the regulator (the mechanism in the door) or the window channels are worn/damaged. Remove the door inspection panel with the window nearly down. You should be able to easily see/reach the bottom of the window. Grab hold and try to rock it, is the glass loose in the carrier, is the carrier loose from the regulator, are the pivots and gears worn and sloppy?
If everything is tight, unbolt the glass carrier from the regulator (watch, the glass is heavy) and try sliding the glass up and down by hand. does it move smoothly or does it bind or hang in the door channels? By now you should have found the problem. If the felt channels are hanging the glass, repair or replace them. If the glass carrier was loose from the regulator, tighten the bolts finger tight, run the window all the way up and rock the glass back and forth until it is centered and square in the frame (one of the large suction cups with a handle for handling glass and a helper is handy here) and tighten the carrier to regulator bolts. If the regulator is worn replace it.

AXracer, did what you said. What is happening is the glass is not going up and down level.when going down the glass tilts to the rear and going up tilts foreword. What is the fix.

There is a metal channel that supports the glass on the bottom of the glass. It bolts to the regulator. The bolts are loose allowing the glass to tip or else the regulator itself is loose in the door or is plain wore out and the pivots are sloppy or frozen/stiff. Look inside the door with a strong light (a mirror might also help see up into the door) and lower the glass to the point where it is tipped, rock the glass and find where the free play is. Unbolt the support channel if it is not loose and remove the glass. Test the regulator for free movement in all the joints. If any of the joints are sloppy loose you'll need a new regulator. If the glass does not rock, and is just sitting angled, loosen the support channel to regulator connection, level the glass and retighten.

Is the glass centered in the channel (glass support)? If it isn't, the glass will want to bind going up or down as you describe.

Not the channel from the glass, where to channel attaches to the regulator (the mechanism that moves the window up and down when you turn the crank)
One other thing you said you replaced the felt channels, is it possible they weren't the right ones and went too deep into the door frame giving the window space to rock?

I guess I just don't understand,I see no bolts any where, just the 4 screws that hold the regulator to the door.there is a drive gear with the crank and a driven gear with a arm that has a nylon wheel that is in a slot on the window channel, moves window up and down.you might be right on with the felt because the window does rock
