Picking a cat
I'm looking at adding some performance parts to up my HP. I'm also redoing the exhaust. What should I look for when selecting a cat? I would like to keep the vehicle passing Maryland emissions.

Picking a cat
I'm not sure how Maryland emmissions work, but I know some states actually count the number of cats in your exhaust when they do their visual inspection. I know that a lot of Mustang guys in California hollow out their stock cats to improve flow and still pass inspection. Personally, I would just buy a high flow cat or two depending on your exhaust (true dual or single pipe). They make them in large enough diameters so that no matter how big your exhaust is, they won't restrict your flow.
