As far as you exhaust leak, go over to the 7.3 forum and search or ask there, someone will be able to help you figure it out. IMO that is the best forum on FTE, no offense to the X guys!!!!
Hey I take offense to that. Jk I used to live up here in the X forum but now I live in the 7.3 forum thats how good it is.

Just an update, I have the Skyjacker 8" lift on the way along with a set of MT Baja Claws. I have never run them before but the SSR's are out of stock.

In case anyone is wondering:

An 8" lift will need new / re-tubed driveshafts. The lift kit is in but I am still waiting on tires and driveshafts now.

Speaking of tires, I had huge problems with getting my tires from 4Wheel Parts. After a dozen calls, I just canceleed my orders and bought tires from someone else. Ended up getting a set of Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips 38-15.5 - 20. I have never run them before, so not sure if I will like them or not.

Here is a snapshot I took just for this forum, I kinda wanted to wait till I was done with all the work before I started boasting...

A little embarrassed by the window tinting as well. One of my first fixes to be done.

How did you insert that photo into the body of your post without creating a gallery??

If ya don't mind me asking.... Where did you get the lift? What you are doing is my plan (with the exception of a 7" lift and 35" tires)...... Will be following your progress! Good Luck.

I got the lift from 4 wheel parts wholesalers. They USED to be my favorite off road vendor. After the latest fiasco, I will spend a bit more to actually get my order right and with less hassle.

It is a Skyjacker brand lift BTW.

Here is a couple of photos I just took with the new lift and tires. Despite my earlier fears, I do not think I will need longer driveshafts. However, the front shaft is really close to falling out of the splines at full droop. If you plan on rockcrawling with this amount of lift and your going to fully flex your suspension, get new driveshafts.

I think the boggers would look great! At highway speed it would sound like a B-17 bomber at full throttle though. Of course, that isn't necessarily a bad thing...
