I run it in all of my gassers. My wifes 06 explorer and my F150. I ran it in all of the rest of my trucks. I run castroll syntec. In my 6.0 I Just switched to Delo 15-40. I was running rotella. I was getting it free at work when I was driving to Texas. I haven't wanted to pay the extra $ to run the synthetic in my diesel.
The big thing in my gassers is when I read several articals in diffrent mags about not running synthetic in an engine untill it is broken in. I figured that if it is that good I would run it.
IF you plan to keep the vehical for a long time (over 200,000 miles), then synthetic is the way to go. My parents car has 170,000 miles and it's been running synthetic (Mobil 1) for at least 160,000 of those miles, and it runs like a top, doesn't leak a drop, and should last easily to 250,000
I bought a car, but I don't plan to keep it more than 4 years, so I'm just running some decent/cheap oil (Mobil Clean 5000 is $9 for a 5 quart jug... can't beat that).
I do like the motorcraft synthetic blend though...only $10.30 or so for 5 qt jug.
Run that in the 04 F150.
