Since I put my headers on and have been driving around with open headers my oil pressure has been higher. The stock gauge needle is in right at the normal/high range.
What would cause this?
Before I put my headers on the gauge needle was right in the middle.
Don't even waste your time looking at the factory gauge, or buying a sending unit for it. Go buy a aftermarket oil pressure gauge if you really want to know what the pressure is.

yea im looking at an aftermarket gauge right now. Just kinda worried me that it went up like that.
I would personally suspect electrical (grounding) issues with items involving the
cluster. I've got some sort of electrical gremlin that makes the gas, temp & oil all
rise & fall together (ammeter isn't hooked up).

Never heard anyone complain about too much oil pressure before. There's alway threads floating around from folks with not enough oil pressure - maybe you could siphon off the the extra and sell it to them?
