Check out rockauto.com for replacement parts. Their prices are hard to beat.

Not sure they'll offer the upgrade your thinking of, but check them out before you spend your money.

I would also search the forum. There have been several threads for brake pads and individuals $0.02. I installed ssbc slotted rotors and pads. They're ok, but I didn't see much of an improvement in stopping distance that I had hoped. They're also wearing faster than the oem pads and rotors , so I'll have to try something difference this summer when I need to replace than. maybe ebcs???

I just put stoptech rotors on my truck and absolutely love them, and have heard great reviews from customers running the stoptech stage 2 brake kit.

I too run akebono pads on my truck and they rock. Same or better stopping power with 1/3 the dust. Monroe's premium pads are great as well and available everywhere CHEAP! A more aggressive pad/rotor combination IS going to wear faster. It's a trade off.

HI,
I'm looking for the pads and/or rotors that will provide the best stopping power, not too concerned with wear right now. I have a 02 f250. I see akebono mentioned may times but i see some people say great stopping power but others say same or better than stock? Are they the one of the best for stopping power?
thanks
