Slow Door Lock
Having a problem with drivers door lock
I have read the posts about the ones that don't work and how to fix,but mine is just puny
If I don't drive the truck the lock tries but only move about 1/8" toward lock position,it unlocks fine
After I have drove the truck some it seems to be good
all the other doors work good
Anybody heard of such a thing??

Yes, my passenger side does the same thing. A little shot of WD-40 fixes mine for a year at a time. Put it right into the slot where the lock slides in the plastic of the door trim.

WD-40 had crossed my mind but wasn't where to squirt it,I'll try that

The thermistor in the drivers door is on it's way out.
The other locks are only a short way behind.
That's how it worked out on my truck.
Time to read up on the fix, you'll be doing it soon.
