Battery Cables?!?!?

Battery Cables?!?!?
Why on earth did Ford use such small cables on the F150?? They used 6 ga wire, IDIOTS. I had to replace the positive cable from the bat to the starter and replaced the starter while I was at it. I had our local farm implement dealership make both the pos and neg cables out of 1 ga cable. Now this baby should whip right over. Anyone have problems with their cables?

I just replaced my positive about a year ago and did the negative at the same time IIRC. They were around 210K miles and starting to act up when starting, not to mention the end could not be loosened up anymore.

After-market Battery Cables. Suggestions?
Anyone know of some good quality after-market battery cable replacements for the 98 F150? Should I just go to the local NAPA stores (or Autozone or etc)
OR get them online? Any suggestions, websites, etc. Would be great.
