tie rod issues

damn....dealer told me about 500 miles ago that all four tie rods and both balljoints were bad....took it to three independent garages and they all said the stealership was FOS.

i'm driving down the road yesterday and BAM, wurp wurp wurp.....the damn inner tie rod shot off the centerlink!!! thank god i was only doing about 25 mph. got her towed about 100 feet into a Firestone shop and $700 later (inner left and right, outer left and right, two sleeves and lifetime warranty) i was done.....

yeah, woulda saved $400 doing it myself.

steering wheel is "off" about 1+ inches to the left, but she travels straight as an arrow. since they replaced all those parts, is this something they can fix without pulling the steering wheel?

Alignment

Truthfully, to straighten the steering wheel, is one of the steps of the alignment. You're steering wheel is held down straight, while you're toe setting is being set.
Let the shop know it drives straight, but they didn't get the steering wheel straight.
