need a 1955 tailgate

Im trying to hunt down a 55 tailgate for a reasonable price, anyone have one or got any ideas, problem is i live other side of the pond ( england ) so sourcing one here is impossible.

They're actually pretty simple pieces of metal. My daughter is going to make me a new one at school. Won't be till fall though, not enough time left in this semester. Teacher told her she could even get it counted towards her grade! I'll just have to pay for the materials.

Wish i had projects like that when i was at school! lol. Mine has just a box section welded in place at the moment. looking to upgrade to an orginal ford.

these are something I saw locally for sale just a few days ago, not sure they are in the best conditon though. that and I/m sure shipping would be pretty expensive.

I bought an aftermarket repop brand new for around $300...no dents, no dings, no rust. If you are going to ship it to the UK then I wouldn't mess around with anything less than a pristine part.
