Anyone know where I can get some of these transmission pan bolts for an E4OD transmission. I got two from a Ford dealer but they were $3.50 a piece. I don't want to keep going that route if I don't have to.

Hello my name is Stacy and I have twenty original transmission pan bolts from my 1995 Ford f250 XLT power stroke 4*4 automatic diesel truck that I don't need anymore. I got bigger bolts in mine now because I made a few mistakes.ok Let me know how much your willing to pay ? Thank you

This post is from 17 years ago. I'll bet he no longer needs them.
Since this topic resurrected from the dead, I find it easier to put in a couple studs on opposite sides of the case. That way, it's so much easier to align the pan/gasket during installation. Easier to put a couple nuts on to hold in in place.
Yes, I understand, most people understand but sometimes there is someone that thinks they can upsize the bolt. With the rubber pan gaskets, I don't think that is possible because of the steel limiters in the gasket.
Just clarifying. That is all. When this thread is opened in another 20 years, it might help someone.

The elastomeric gasket and pan use different length bolts than the cork and mathcing pan, and using the old bolts on the new pan and gasket will cause the bolts to bottom out in the threads before being tight, which means someoen might snap off the casting on their case if they arent aware (RIP!)
