my speedblaster has an attachment I purchased seperately to collect the media so it doesnt end up all over the shop floor. when spot blasting, I re-use the media about 3 or 4 times, but after that it becomes dull and you start wasting time. I have to use my big pressurized 2 bag blaster outside as to not create so much mess. I have tried collecting it with a tarp, but you really only get a portion of it.
Do you mean your body, or your truck's body? Actually, I'm sure it is both! lol...
Do you try to re-collect your media for another round, Duste?
Both would be right, the sand gets everywhere in the vehicle and ob your body, drives me nuts. I reuse the media from my spot blaster but not from my pressure blaster, would need a tarp the size of a ball field to catch all.
Thanks fellas. I may just pressure wash and POR it. Should have read more about the POR. Just may get that one from Eastwood for the small jobs that are most surely going to pop up. Was afraid it would look like a hack job if I just painted over that surface rust. I'm coating frame, axel, springs with that stuff. The beach 3miles away will destroy this truck in no time if I don't... Thanks again
