I put my truck in its first show this past weekend and it won a best of show. I really don't care about the gold stuff but I guess with all the work that I have done and the help that this site has brought me well I am proud of this one. It was about 150 vehicles there and a open show benefiting the Army Emergency Relief. There were plenty of nicer vehicles there (I thought) but you just can't keep everyone away from a old ford truck. I understand that this truck is not Supernats winner, but its mine and it is driven and its paid for. Also if is ever on a trailer, something bad is wrong.
Last Chance that is a nice 56 you have there. I know people have personal taste when it comes to building trucks. But a nice chrome front bumper bar about 1 1/2" from the front gravel pan would set that pickup off by a mile. Congrats on the trophy mate.
so you won ? if any one has a problem with it to heck with 'em . it's confirmation of the fact that you aren't the only one who thinks you got a nice truck .. big bonus is like everyone else here it's not a trailer queen , it's driven ! congradulations on it and have fun doin' it .
Congrats! I'm not a trophy hound either but I did win one on my first show entry even though it's not even painted yet. It probably helped that my 48 was the only truck in that class...
Very cool!! You must be very proud of that. It is very rewarding to ee folks staring at a truck that you built yourself. You should be very proud. Nice truck!!
Congrats on your first show and the trophy too! I don't expect my truck to be a show winner, but we're taking it anyway. We are registered for another this Sat, don't expect a trophy, but we do get a lot of attention.
Congrats man, I too have won trophies that I thought I didnt deserve? But it does feel good. Youve got a great looking truck! and you DRIVE it! Thats even better!! I love all the looks from all the folks in their yards and such when I drive by in Pegysu! CONGRATS. Now you need to get in a magazine!! Are you going to the Supernats? Or are you going to the one in June?
I like everything about your truck, color, mirrors, windows, no door handles and no bumper. Just enough chrome to set off the black. Very clean and well thought-out truck. Proves that sometimes it's not what you put on but what you take off (I was just saying that to the wife the other day).
