Time-line of cleaning fuel system?

I have been running bio for 5 months now. Started slow with B5 and in two months worked up to B50. So I have now been using B50 to B80 for 3 months. I filled up with B100 a week ago. Now the question. How long does it take to clean out the fuel system from the diesel sludge? The truck had 45k on her when I started running bio. Thoughts? Experiences?

With the introduction of ULSD, the sludge buildup has been reduced significantly. So when running bio for the first few tanks, it's less likely that you will see a lot of extra gunk in your fuel filter. There's just not as much as there used to be.

With only 45,000 miles on it when you started, your probably ok, just do your recomended filter change. Most problems I've heard where with trucks with 150+k miles.

Just watch your HP. If it starts going down. Change filters as not to ruin injectors.

Thanks for the input guys. I have been changing my fuel filters when I do oil change around every 5k. I was thinking about getting some extra protection with either an air dog or a fass system and maybe a fuel pressure gauge just to be safe. Since the truck has been running so well I was thinking today that maybe all the build-up is out of the fuel system.
