Champ Car RIP
The Long Beach Grand Prix was the first event of the season, and last event forever of Champ Car racing. Tony George finally "won". IndyCar ran in Japan on the same weekend and got a SMALLER field of entries than Long Beach.
Well, for you Ford fans, IndyCar has Honda as the engine sponsor/supplier this year, while the outgoing Champ cars were Ford/Cosworth powered.
I know NASCAR fans are about 90 percent of this website, but not me. Since the took the "Stock" out of NASCAR, I stopped watching.
