What do you think of the Tony Stewart incident?

I believe the young man was 20, or so its been reported.
I've never liked Stewart because he's a punk. Long known as a hot head his antics that lead to this horrible accident are NOT in keeping with a true professional race driver. Having seen the driver out of his car standing on the track and knowing he was mad the better, smarter, more mature and level headed driver would have avoided him. Instead Stewart thought it cute to brush him backwards---the results are a young man lost his life.
This incident will be short lived because the driver chose to leave his car and confront someone on the racing surface. While technically and most likely according to the rules Stewart did nothing wrong I personally would like to see some sort of action taken to discourage repeats from any driver. In this case I mean BOTH Stewart and Ward, Jr.
Condolences to Kevin's family.

I think Tony wanted to give him a little "chin music" like a MLB pitcher throwing a 98mph fastball by a batters head to get him to back off the plate...........but this went terribly wrong and Tony is going to have to deal with the consequences.........besides the fact that a young man is dead.

Very unfortunate, but Tony has always been a hot headed driver. I think he made a mistake this time and took it too far. It will be interesting to see if any charges are filed.
I wonder if Tony will continue racing these types of cars after this incident on top of the accident that caused his broken leg a year ago.

I didn't see anything in the video that leads me to believe it was intentional. The only person that knows for sure is Tony. If truly an accident then hopefully he can come to grips with it and eventually move on. If not, he will have to live with it everyday the rest of his life, and while nobody ever accused Tony of being a saint, this will eat him from the inside out if it was anything other than a horrible accident. Just my 2 cents.

I saw a whole lot of stupid in that video. I'm sorry the guy's dead, but he shouldn't have gone down on the track like he did. It's possible Tony swerved to avoid him and goosed the throttle causing the tail to slide into the guy or even that he did that on purpose--as 19fifty4 said, only Tony knows for sure.
No matter who's at fault, I think Tony should retire. He's damaged goods.

I viewed a couple other videos and I still think Ward should not have been on the track. But, it doesn't look good for Stewart.
Stewart is 43 his skills are waning, he was injured for a long time last year and has never fully recovered.
Prediction: No criminal charges (drivers signed waivers and racing license) a civil suit will be filed by the parents a large undisclosed amount will be paid to the foundation that they control.
NASCAR will also have Stewart set up a driver's anger management educational series, Stewart will announce his retirement from full-time driving (he will be back-up for all SHR drivers) and dedicate his time to being a team owner.
