503.5 HP 351W Stroker

The new issue of the Car Craft features a build up of 351W stroker putting out 503.5HP so if you are interested in building a stroker motor, check it out!

503.5 HP 351W Stroker

The July 2001 issue of muscle mustangs & fast fords has a build up using a 351 and boring and stroking it to a 421. It uses an offset ground 400m cranck and .03 overbore. When it was all said and done it had 537.9hp@6000rpm and 515.3ft lbs@5000rpm. Post back if you want to know more.

Oh I want to know more.

I'm looking to really boost the low end torque in a 351W. Want more power in one of my bronco!

Problem is on some of the EFI models of 5.8s I don't think you can do these type of MODS because the engine is SD not MAF

OK sorry about the wait but i was out of town.
They used an custom offset 400M crank, came out to 4.125inch stroke
Bored .030 over
KB hypereutectic pistons to yeild roughly 9.7:1 static comp ratio
Eagle H-Beam rods
Comp Cams XE282 HR Roller Cam 232/240 duration .565/.575 lift
Edelbrock Victor Jr. alum. heads ported and milled
Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold with "turtle" on the plenum floor
Speed Demon 850cfm carb
Underdrive pulleys
ARP bolts
And MSD ignition setup
These are just the basic things listed
Doesnt get to specific on part #s
