replacing door pins and bushing ?
I've got everything out and can't seem to get the brass bushings to go into the hole. I'm afraid if I hit them too hard they will break. What is the trick?

Use a long 1/4 bolt with a nut thru to the other side of the hinge half and snug it up then hit with a hammer. the bolt will stop the spring action of the hinge and the bushing will seat
