Intercooler Boot Sizes

Intercooler Boot Sizes
I have done some searching but cannot find the answer to my question. Are all the boots that connect to the spider the same size? I was going to order the kit from Dieselsite but they are on back order. I thought I might try to buy some tubing from Napa or a marine store instead. Any thoughts? Good idea, bad idea? Are they 3"? Mine seems to measure about 2 7/8" but not sure how critical this might be.
Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for a full replacement set of IC boots, Mr Bob makes a good set (I think Diesel Power installed a set) Can't help on size but here's their website Mr. Bob's Distributing - Roadmaster Active Suspension, ATS, AFE Filters, Mag-Hytech, Odyssey Batterys, and more.

I just bought a three foot section of 3" hose from Napa for $99. Ouch! But better than the one boot from the dealer for $40. Holy cow! That's what I am going to try. Thanks for the input Ron and Will. I will post back in a few days and let you know how it goes. I am going to wait and do this when I get the new rubber piece that connects to the turbo intake coming from the air filter. I cannot even do a boosht test because that friggin thing is leaking. Won't be in until Tuesday.

I like these 1999.5-2003 7.3L Dieselsite Engine Boot Kit (After 12/1/98)
I haven't done the CCV mod and I don't get any oily mist. They seal very well.
