Running Bio w/ Modded trucks?

Just a question...

Has anyone had any experiance running B50-B100 w/ Mods to there trucks???

What I mean is Bio gonna hurt any when I decide to put a new everything in the truck, injectors, turbo, exhaust, fuel system... etc etc..

My guess would be no as its a "cleaner" fuel.. But I mean with power issues and what not..?

Thanks,
Alec

As long as it's good quality bio, you should be fine. With the introduction of ULSD, bio doesn't have as much of a difference in BTU's as with LSD.

i run all blends of biodiesel in my semi modded truck. no problems and i run custom tunes on my SCT (Econ, Street, Hybrid Race). i have been thinking lately and wondering if running biodiesel would effect cylinder pressure? biodiesel has higher cetane and with the increased timing of a high power tune may cause extra pressure. i don't know, just thinking out loud, hopefully someone with more insight can help us out.
thanks
